Sara is a product of the Kentucky/Indiana influences she grew up in. Listening to country music from Nashville radio stations and rock & roll and blues from WLS in Chicago, the bug to play music got her when someone showed her 4 chords on the guitar. With influences from folk singers she met and worked with in Greenwich Village, after moving to New York City in the late 60’s, she started to build her catalog of songs while performing in clubs up and down the eastern coastline. The pull to the west moved her to LA, then to Seattle where she has been living and performing since 1978. 

Known throughout the greater Seattle area, you will see Sara performing an array of originals and covers with the SaraBand, as a solo performer, collaborating with friends/fellow musicians and producing and performing in a show every year for the Seattle Peace Concerts series, in existence since 1981.
